Deleting Your Account
At SpotMD, we provide our patients with the option to delete their accounts if they wish to discontinue using our services. Follow the steps below to deactivate and eventually delete your account:
- Open the SpotMD mobile application on your device.
- Navigate to the “Settings” tab within the application.
- Click on the “Deactivate Account” option.
- A confirmation prompt will appear, asking if you are sure you want to deactivate your account. (Please note that deactivating your account will temporarily disable it for a period of 30 days initially).
- If you are certain about deleting your account, proceed by confirming the deactivation.
Reactivation of Account
If, within the next 30 days, you decide to continue using SpotMD and wish to reactivate your account, simply log in using your previous credentials. Your account will be reactivated, and you can resume using our services as before.
Permanent Account Deletion
If you do not log in to your account within the 30-day deactivation period, your account will be permanently deleted. After this period, all your personal data and information associated with your account will be permanently removed from our systems. Please note that once the account is permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered.
It is essential to ensure that you have retrieved any important data or information from your account before proceeding with the deactivation process.

Please be aware that deleting your account will result in the loss of access to all SpotMD features and services. If you decide to use our services again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
